About
Kultivate collects detailed, structured data on farmers, farmholds, crops and cultivation — and builds the systems that keep it usable.
Mission
A field officer visits a plot, writes what they see in a notebook, and the notebook goes in a drawer. Multiply that by a season and a district, and an organisation has collected an enormous amount of information it cannot answer a single question with.
We build for the moment before that: capture the record in a form that stays queryable. That means a real registry of farmers and plots, crops tracked through their actual lifecycle, and procurement and advisory tied back to the plot they came from.
We work with government bodies, agricultural universities, ICAR institutes and Farmer Producer Organisations, and we build for both sides of the sector — the institutions setting policy and the enterprises buying, processing and selling what gets grown.
