Ordering and payment fully online; counters no longer required.
Aavin Coimbatore serves close to 1,000 booths and 10,000 card customers across booths and Aavin parlours, government and private institutions, and other unions in Tirupur and Ooty. Ordering was in person at the sales counter only, transactions were almost entirely cash-based, and twice-daily logistics — booth-wise distribution lists, route planning across 40 truck routes per trip, and truck-wise milk segregation — were all worked out by hand, with no consolidated view across counters.
Kultivate Paalam introduced three linked pieces. The Aavin website gives booth agents, card customers, institutions and parlours a B2B ordering platform to register, place orders, pay online and view order history. The Aavin mobile app lets card customers and booth agents place and manage orders on the go, with wallet balance and transaction logs, while officials use its geo-tagging features to plan distribution. The Aavin portal is the management hub — order management, indent preparation, gate pass generation, route management and MIS reporting, all in one dashboard. Orders placed on the web or app flow straight into the plant's indent preparation, gate pass generation and route planning for the 40 distribution routes run each trip.
Aavin Coimbatore now runs ordering and payment fully online, with counters no longer required — moving from cash-based, manual, twice-daily coordination to one cloud system with full visibility across every counter and route.
