The story behind the name
Our name draws on the words of Tamil poet Subramania Bharathi — his dream of every individual owning a kaani, a piece of land standing for dignity, self-reliance and prosperity.
Kaani carries that vision into the field: every plot, however small, gets access to modern cultivation practices, fair markets and a record of its own.

What it does
Farmers, agents and supervisors are enrolled once, linked into clusters, and given role-based access across mobile and portal.
Every plot is GPS-geotagged and geo-fenced, nursery and transplanting stages are tracked, and multiple harvests per farmer roll up into one view on the map.
Inventory is tracked across stores, inputs move from company to agent to farmer on record, and combo pricing, returns and commissions are worked out automatically.
Field supervisors run visits from a mobile app — logging photos, GAP compliance, and pest, disease or crop-failure reports as they happen.
Yield is predicted cluster-wise, procurement trips are scheduled, and harvest is recorded at the farm gate with weighbridge integration and payment reporting.
